- Their eldest, Sedona, was born in 2019, followed by Liam in 2021 and Billy Gene in 2024
- While competing on Dancing with the Stars in 2025, Whitney said her kids are what keep her motivated on “the hardest” days
For Whitney Leavitt, motherhood has brought her passion for dance full circle.
“I went from being the little girl on stage waving to my parents in the audience, to now having my own kids watching me and hopefully seeing what it looks like to chase a dream with courage and heart,” the Dancing with the Stars contestant told PEOPLE in September 2025. “Knowing they’re proud of me keeps me going, even on the hardest rehearsal days.”
Before joining season 34 of the ABC dancing competition series, Leavitt rose to fame for her viral TikTok dances and for being featured on the cast of Hulu’s reality series, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. She and husband, Conner Leavitt, have welcomed three children since they got married in 2016: Sedona Leavitt, Liam Leavitt and Billy Gene Leavitt.
Their first child, Sedona, was born in November 2019. Two years later, Whitney gave birth to Liam in December 2021, followed by Billy Gene in October 2024.
“We are most excited about having our family complete,” the influencer told PEOPLE after giving birth to Billy. “We’ve always wanted three kids and we’re so happy everyone’s here now.”

Conner and Whitney’s eldest child, Sedona, was born in November 2019. The influencer told Vulture in May 2025 that she was pregnant with Sedona when she first downloaded TikTok.
The little girl has since taken an interest in her mother’s passion for making videos. The influencer shared in February 2025 that she finds “a new batch of videos from Sedona” every day, which show her “documenting every little moment with baby Billy.”
Since Whitney joined DWTS, her daughter has joined her at rehearsals, with Connor sharing a sweet TikTok from before the show premiered of Sedona watching her mom practice.
“POV: watching your daughter watch her mom live her dreams,” he wrote over the video, which featured Sedona lacing up dance shoes with her mom and telling Whitney that she plans on being a “Dancing with the Stars girl” one day.
Weeks later, Whitney revealed that her daughter would be in the audience for the first time to cheer her on during DWTS‘s Disney night.
“I mean, of course, she’d love for me to be a Disney princess or something,” the influencer told PEOPLE in October 2025. “I’m sure, because she’s my little princess.”

The couple welcomed their second child, Liam, in December 2021. He was diagnosed with Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) — a common respiratory illness that typically affects kids under 1 year old — soon after he was born. Leavitt came under fire for posting a TikTok dance next to her newborn son while he was hospitalized in the NICU.
“It was really bad, people were telling me to end my life, they wished my family would die,” she told BuzzFeed in January 2022, noting that she had taken down the video. “I felt like I had completely lost control to clear up the context of everything of why I made the video and the reason of what motivated me to make the video.”
Leavitt later said in a June 2025 interview on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast that she understood where people were coming from and that when she made the video, Liam’s condition was improving.
Like his siblings, Liam frequently appears on his mom’s Instagram and TikTok accounts. In October 2025, the influencer shared a series of photos of her family having fun at Disneyland alongside her DWTS partner Mark Ballas.

Whitney and Conner welcomed their third child on Oct. 24, 2024. The parents told PEOPLE that they chose Billy’s name before he was born, breaking the tradition they had followed with their first two children.
“We’ve always waited to name our children after meeting them, but with Billy, we fell in love with the name immediately — even before meeting him,” Whitney told PEOPLE after his birth.
She added, “We loved the gender neutrality in the name since we weren’t finding out the baby’s gender until delivery, which we’ve never done before. The name allowed us to feel connected to the baby without knowing the gender.”
After Billy was born, the mom of three said all Liam and Sedona wanted to do was “hold their new baby brother.”
When Whitney announced her pregnancy in September 2024 on Secret Wives, she put her positive pregnancy test inside a cake, a move that was met with some controversy. Though she confirmed with The Cut that her family did eat the cake, she said she “Cloroxed the heck out of” the pregnancy test before sticking it inside the dessert.
